A Bachelors degree in Optional English, Journalism and Communicative English is designed specially to nurture and equip students with professional skills to make a career of their choice in media, journalism professions involving communications. This degree provides students with the knowledge needed to understand the basics of Communication and Journalism.
Communicative English trains students in the fundamentals of communication with a tilt towards writing for the media.
Optional English equips students with the ability to write clearly, debate and think logically and it tries to make the students better critical thinkers.
The course has a close link with the media industry and has compulsory internship spaced throughout the three undergraduate years.
AIM OF THE COURSE
The course aims to enable students to become better communicators in all spheres related to the media industry.

6 Semesters spread over a period of 3 years.

10+2; Students opting for this combination must take up a written test.
SPECIAL FEATURES
It is a industry driven course, which equips the students to face the challenges of the present day job scenario. The course is primarily vocational in nature and stresses on practiced application rather than theoretical inputs. The students have to undergo two-four week internships.
Induction programmes guest lecturers and various workshops are organized at regular intervals to help the students improve interpersonal skills.
