A degree with this combination paves way to a career in one of the many business & research facilities that make up what is known as the biotech industries and the course content aims at moulding students as skilled researches, managers and laboratory technicians.
Biotech processes today have facilitated major advances in wildlife management & conservation. Hence a career in this field can be very useful.
Chemistry curriculum is designed on the fundamental concepts in physical, inorganic, organic and biochemistry.
After successfully completing the course a student of chemistry may venture into food companies, testing laboratories & many other research laboratories.
AIM OF THE COURSE
The course is programmed to provide the student an opportunity to learn, understand and admire certain principles involved in Biotechnology like Molecular biology.
